What a difference a day makes. The boys on the final touches of this 35m guyed mast tower.

Theo, Jake and I had a week down near Queenstown installing a new foundation for a OneNZ roadside pole.

So the bad news is the truck wouldn't fit completely in the garage for winter storage. The good news is we lifted the cabin over into the back yard.

Rick and Theo up the tower installing a splice joint strengthening upgrade while the ground crew get distracted by the view. In the background is Lake Benmore and to the right Omarama. This site is at 1200m so the view all around on a good day is pretty magic. It almost makes you want to stay the night!

A few more of these sunrises is what we need while working south of Timaru.
